Has operated many swim and sauna sessions on Tyneside and in Northumberland and Durham at various venues throughout its history. Our latest swim session is in the City Pool, Northumberland Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. This operates monthly from September to May and includes Swimming and the use of the Turkish Baths suite. See the event section for details of dates.
Throughout its history we have visited many other naturist club sites throughout the UK.
The club has tried over the years to secure land as a perminent base, but as yet has not been sucessfull. We had use of a site near Allendale Town in Northumberland for a short while but lost this on the death of the owner.
We are curently seeking sites that would be suitable for caravan and camping activities and are in discussions at present with such a landowner. We also organise caravan rallies for our members.
The club obtained exempion certificates from DEFRA (now Natural England) under the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act (1960) and the Public Health Act (1936) to both caravan and camp on otherwise unlicenced land, without the need to obtain planning permission or a site licence for these rally meetings. We were also granted exemption under paragraph 5. We now are enabled to Certify Sites for use by our members without the need to obtain planning permission or obtain a site licence.
We can now set up site that will be available for our members to use as they wish not just at the set time of a rally.
We are currently continuing to create content for this section.
In order to be able to keep up with our high standards of service, we need a little more time.
