The club is a Company Limited by Guarantee.  Below is a copy of our Memorandum of Association and a copy of the Standing Orders (formerly part of the original Club Constitution)

                                                THREE RIVERS OUTDOOR CLUB
                                    Company Number 6879870 - Registered in England 

 1  NAME
The Company’s name is THREE RIVERS OUTDOOR CLUB.
The initials TROC may also be used to describe the company.

2  REGISTERED OFFICE
The Company’s registered office will be in England

3  The company’s objects are :-

(a)    The carrying on of a members club and the doing of all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of that object.

(b)   To provide facilities for the enjoyment of social naturism and recreation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. 

4  POWERS

The Company has the power to do anything, which is incidental or conducive to the furtherance of its object, including the acquisition, development and management of sites or premises suitable for the enjoyment of naturist activities and/or for the purpose of operating caravan and camping sites, holding rallies or meetings as permitted by legislation or by Local Planning Authorities.

5  LIMITED LIABILITY

The liability of the Members is limited.

6  GUARANTEE

Every Member of the Company undertakes to contribute a sum not exceeding £1 to the assets of the Company if it is wound up during his or her membership or within one year afterwards:
(a)  for payment of the debts and liabilities of the Company contracted before he, she or it ceased to be a Member;
(b)  for the costs, charges and expenses of winding up; and
(c)  for the adjustment of the rights of the contributories among themselves.

            A copy of the Articles of Association can be obtained from the Company Secretary

Finance

a)       Annual fees are due on the first of January and should be paid not later than end of February each year. Unless a prior arrangement for late payment has been arranged with the directors.

b)       The clubs financial year shall be from 1st January to 31st December

Caravan Rallies

The club shall apply for and hold an exemption certificate under the Caravan Sites & Control of Development Act 1960  for England, Wales and Scotland, that will enable it to hold rallies for its members.

The club will also apply for and hold Camping Exemption Certificates under the Public Health Act (1937) for England and Wales that will enable it to hold rallies for its members.

Before Rallying under a paragraph 4 exemption certificate the club will consult the relevant local Planning Authority regarding the use of the proposed site and will not hold rallies under paragraph 4 if the local authority object to such use. Any rally under Paragraph 4 will be restricted to a maximum of 28 (twenty eight) days duration. Non-members are permitted to attend such rallies provided that they are staying as a guest of an attending member. 

Rallies held under a paragraph 6 exemption are restricted to member of the club only and are restricted to a maximum duration of 5 (five) days.

A named club member, appointed as site marshal, will supervise every rally

The club may also hold a Paragraph 5 exemption and must have in place such organisation structure and management to administer such sites to the satisfaction of Natural England, or their successors.

Membership 

The directors may delegate the acceptance of new members to such persons as they see fit to appoint.

Disiplinary Matters.

Club members shall agree to abide by club rules and the Naturist Code of Conduct, The Country and Seashore Codes, The Code for Campers, and the Caravan Code, as part of their terms of membership. 

A member may be asked to leave any club activity for breach of the rules or codes by the designated rally officer.  Such action must be reported to the directors for action.

Members breaching the rules for Paragraph 5 sites must be reported by the site owner or site inspector and disciplinary action will be taken.

A unit may be suspended by a decision of one or more directors. Within one calendar month of any suspension an extraordinary general meeting shall be called at which the matter will be discussed and any disciplinary decision taken. A 2/3 (two Thirds) majority of those present being required to terminate membership.

If a dispute arises between individual members on or off site the members will be reported to the directors for suspension action until that dispute is settled.

Affiliation with other organisations

The directors may agree to accept affiliation from other organisations.  Such affiliation is for the purposes of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act (1960).  Members of affiliated organisations can join our members on any of our activities.
